What buyers should know

• Seven cosmetics markets make up the cluster; the wider Sanyuanli area is where Baiyun's cosmetics industry first grew.
• Xingfa Plaza has been trading since the mid-1990s, when it started as warehousing and grew into a cosmetics exhibition and trading centre.
• It is mid-redevelopment: phases 3 and 4 moved out first, more than 600 shops signed for the relocated site on Jichang Road, and that site reopened on 10 June 2025.
• The cleared phase 3 and 4 site had 65,500 m² of floor area and was demolished completely in May 2025; the land is being rebuilt as part of the Sanyuanli urban-village redevelopment.
