It has run 51 editions of the Guangdong Beauty Festival and four international wig trade fairs.
In August 2024 it became the first beauty market in China approved for the 1039 market-procurement trade pilot: merchants clear goods under USD 150,000 per declaration through an on-site foreign-trade service centre, and exports under the scheme had reached RMB 30 million.
It was rated a China top-100 comprehensive commodity market and one of Guangzhou's first five-star commodity markets in 2024.
