Shiling versus Sanyuanli: which leather stop for which buyer

Guangzhou's two best-known leather areas are Shiling in Huadu and Sanyuanli in Baiyun. They do different jobs and most buyers need both or neither.

When Shiling is the right choice

Shiling suits buyers after factory-side sourcing: larger runs, wider range, a full day allocated.

It sits closer to the airport and is a sourcing town rather than a single building.

When Sanyuanli is the right choice

Sanyuanli suits smaller mixed orders and trading-hall buying inside Guangzhou proper.

It is easier to reach inside the city, and stock mixes from block to block.

How to decide

Match the market to run size and travel tolerance, not to a headline.

Many buyers use Sanyuanli for sampling and Shiling for production.

Visiting both

Pair them within a wider Baiyun and Huadu block if time allows, and consolidate once at the end.

Positioning and tenants change; treat as orientation.
