Price, MOQ and negotiation reality at Baima
Baima's prices are not the lowest in Guangzhou, but its range and finish are. This guide explains how pricing and MOQ actually work on the floor.
Guangzhou markets: Baima Clothing Market
What Baima sells for
Baima positions itself in the mid to high band. The very cheapest street-level pieces are found elsewhere; the trade-off is finish, sizing consistency and original design.
Use nearby markets as your price floor when negotiating.
Two prices for the same style
Stalls usually quote a taking price for small quantities and a packing price for a full run. These can differ sharply.
Ask for both and the size run behind each before comparing stalls.
How MOQs really work
MOQs vary by stall and floor. Lower floors tolerate small mixed quantities; upper floors expect a complete size run.
Mixed means mixed colours or sizes of one style, rarely a basket of unrelated items.
Negotiating well
Negotiate on construction and fabric, backed by a competitor's quote. Headline unit price is not the right argument at this market.
Agree packing and consignment at the same time as price.
Keep the record
Write down the agreed price, MOQ and size run on the stall ticket and photograph it with the sample.
The order copy is the contract when disputes arise later.
We do not publish verified per-stall prices; confirm and renegotiate on the floor.
